Leaflets and brochures
We have a selection of leaflets and brochures for your visit. Copies can be picked up from the National Park Tourist Information Centre in the Moot Hall on the Market Square, and you will often find them in your accommodation.
Keswick Visitor Guide
The current guide can be read online. We can also post a free copy out to you — contact us at info@keswick.org or on 017687 75738.
Maps and walks
Two printed maps are available from the information centre: the Visit Keswick Attractions leaflet, which combines a town centre street map with an area map of attractions, galleries, shops and outdoor activities; and a street map of Keswick town centre. Downloadable copies of both are being brought across to this site.
The Derwentwater Walk — a scenic ten-mile waymarked route round the lake on flat and easy paths — is written up in full, with directions, on the walking routes pages. Cycling routes are on the cycling page.
Bus timetables change with the season, so rather than a snapshot the live ones are on the transport and parking page.
Dog friendly Keswick
Podgy Paws Pet Shop in Keswick have put together a Keswick Dog Friendly Guide — twenty pages of stories, tips and information. It is £1 in the shop or £2 posted, and the profits go to local good causes. Call 017687 73737 to order a copy.
